        Hired a body board for use at Minehead beach. Really good service from friendly and efficient staff. Would use Channel Adventure again.

        Really disappointed. 7 friends and I had booked to take out paddle boards on a Saturday at the start of July (peak season) but when we arrived at the centre the whole place was shut despite the website saying it was open and a sign on the door saying it was open (when it definitely wasnt because the doors were locked and lights turned off). We hung around for 4 hours waiting for someone to turn up and tried phoning the centre a few times but no one answered. Eventually we gave up. Ive since tried calling the centre a few times to get to the bottom of what was going on but still no answer despite the website saying they are open. Really sad as I travelled for 2 hours to visit channel adventure to do paddle boarding with 7 of my friends. A huge disappointment.

        Closed most days, missed opportunity and a real disappointment because there's nothing adventurous on this whole stretch of coastline during the week.

        Absolutely excellent. We hired paddleboards for an entire day for a very reasonable price and could take them wherever we wanted. The staff, one person, was brilliant and the service ran very efficiently. Would definitely recommend!
