Baits Bite Lock

Working lock on the river Cam about 3 miles east of the city centre. Not really very much to see but nonetheless, like most locks, it is a fantastic piece of engineering. It is well maintained by a local conservation group with a nice arrangement of potted flower beds. If you like to walk along the river this is the last practical point where you can cross over from one bank to the other.

Lovely beautiful walk by here the only thing that lets it down is all the colleges using the area for their boats Feel sorry for people walking as their instructeds that rides on a bike Are miserable and stuck up plus they don't give a To hoots if there's someone fishing Which ruins the atmosphere but when they're not about beautiful peaceful friendly environment to walk along and it's nice to see club Bailiffs and A,T Water bailiff Patrolling with very helpful and friendly attitudes
