This is a wonderful Pharmacy. The staff are always so friendly and efficient. I've known quite a different service before I moved to this area so I'm still suprised at how good they are! Thank you!

I tried this pharmacy once for my disabled wife because they deliver. She's in a lot of pain and following pain clinic discussion uses 1 Zapain (30mg codeine) + 1 Co-codamol (8mg) at night to be able to sleep, and in the day either the same or 2 Co-codamol. Has been using a mixture of the dosages for years specifically so that she can use 8mg instead of 30mg or half 30. However the pharmacy saw the two different size dosages Zapain and Co-codamol on the same prescription and phoned the GP practice and claim they agreed she doesn't need the Co-codamol, so just dismissed it off the prescription. The practice is run off their feet and probably didn't have notes or check notes properly, and the prescription is still listed as "issued" by the practice. Now my wife has a problem - she can't take 8mg, she has to have a bigger dose. Govt advice is to keep pain meds to the necessary. What this pharmacy has actually done is the opposite of that - force my wife to take 15mg instead of 8mg. This is my issue: the pharmacy never phoned my wife to consult or even inform her. That's unacceptable. When I called to find out where the Co-codamol was, and tried to explain how she uses it to keep the Codeine to a minimum, they didn't listen. They just repeated their excuse "We have a duty for patient care". That's ironic considering this pharmacy clearly doesn't respect their customer as a person. _ Response to their response: As stated my issue was with your lack of consideration and communication. You could have included a note to let my wife know. The prescriber has fixed the error now and she'll get the Co-codamol from you but a week late. Where you lost a customer is when I phoned and explained she is being forced to take more codeine, you didn't CARE. You just gave me your talk-to-the-hand "we have a duty of care" over and over.
