Emerson Valley Post Office

Just spent 20 mins queueing to get to know that you cannot buy an envelope in the post office. Is this some kind of joke?

Honestly had the worse improper experience. There was a indian lady serving me. My wife and I had received a postal order for our wedding gift. We went to cash in. The lady first goes no name. So I said I will write my name. She then goes who sends a gift without a name. I said we were getting married so didn't know who to write in. She then after asking for ids says most people receive cheques for their wedding. I said yes we did however one person sent a postal order, she then try to say I can bank it. I said well I'm here. She finally processed this, had no right asking so many questions. Will never go here or recommend people here. Her tone was poor. Hopefully post master will have them removed.

Very very unskillful staff. No knowledge of different services. Just wastage of time and always long queue but help is 0.

The most useless and unhelpful post office I have ever had . They are unable to help almost every time I go . The attitude of the staff is that unless it's easy and quick, I don't want to help you . The post office is the place where Starling Bank customers can deposit cash, but they don't accept 50 pound notes . If my business account needs a cash deposit and I am paid in 50s . It's a bank , this is ridiculous.
