After doing a small job for us we asked Alex back to survey 3 bathrooms. He told us what each room could take then supported on the purchase of products. He is a perfectionist which is great for the customer! He can do most of the jobs - removal, installation, tiling and flooring and coordinates with others for electrical/plastering. Alex is totally trustworthy (we left the house often), respectful, polite with a good sense of humour/rapport. He is also very tidy. We would recommend to anybody and will certainly be using again. I had used Alex several times for fixes after a friend recommended him. He had undertaken many small jobs for me and always responded with a good price, but most importantly, a professional job. So when it came to a complete renovation of our main bathroom, he was the obvious choice. We went with a complete rip out and started again. Floors came up plasterboardthe lot. We even reconfigured the airing cupboard and put our tank in the loft. Alex reconfigured all the stud work to allow the bathroom to repurpose the space. Alex helped us with the new bathroom configuration and planning and advised on the best products to source. Seeing the detail and the eye for perfection Alex has meant we ended up with a brilliant job. Everything Alex did was superb, carefully thought out and executed. I am so pleased we chose him to undertake the work. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. We could have paid much more and not received such a good finished job as we got from Alex. Needed a bathroom overhaul and was recommended by a friend to contact Alex. Having never undertaken a bathroom re-fit I were worried about measurements etc. From the very first correspondence until the job was finalised, Alex put our mind at rest. He looked over all the plans / layout from the bathroom supplier to make sure we were getting exactly what we needed. His honesty and upfront approach helped us set expectations of the re-fit. Alex arrived each day on time, confirmed the plan for each day and just got on with it. I was very surprised at how little mess was made. very tidy workman. if you're looking for hard working, fair priced and honest, then I would highly recommend. We will be having him return to do the downstairs loo and have recommended Alex to a family member also aiming to do a re-fit later this year.
