Ive been with the PT centre a year now, this is the first thing Ive ever done for a year and Im 45 yrs old, more than that its the first place where Ive had holidays, injuries and general life set backs and still felt welcomed and a pull to come back and not give up. It hasnt been easy or quick for me but it has completely changed my outlook and made me fall in love with exercise, food and the ethos that is taught. Im so grateful for the trainers and the community, for forever changing how I feel about how I treat my body and mind. Cant wait for year 2 the best is yet to come

Having not had a PT before, I decided to take the plunge last June and join The PT Centre. I wasnt sure what to expect, but I was immediately blown away by the professionalism of Adam and the team. Their drive, dedication and eagerness with me allowed myself to achieve some personal goals in the gym Ive not been able to reach ever in any gym after going for years on end. The PT Centre is not just a gym, its a community full of like-minded people who are all working towards the same or similar goal. No matter the age or ability, Adam and the team get to work on giving you fitness, nutritional and also mindset targets that allow you to be better both inside and outside the gym. To add to that, every quarter theres a social event to get all the staff and clients together to talk about anything but fitness, which is something Ive never known another PT community to do. I expected Adam and the team to help with my fitness (as that was why I joined), but I never expected to achieve much more outside of that. I feel part of a community now and have gained much more mental strength and confidence (to name just two) out of joining than just working out. If you live near and are looking for a PT within Milton Keynes I 100% recommend The PT Centre. I put all my trust in them and they truly delivered and gave even more. I dont have much personal knowledge of PTs in general however I am confident that whatever your personal goals are, The PT Centre can help you achieve them. Thank you so much The PT Centre for what youve given me, I wouldnt be where I am today without you!

Ive worked out in some form or another for most of my life and stayed relatively fit. Then hip arthritis invaded my life and prevented most of the activities at the gym due to the pain. A sedentary life with limited walking became the only option until I had both hips replaced in 2018. After surgery, walking became my exercise of choice. Even though I walk 3-4 miles every day, this wasnt helping me reach my goals to lose weight and tone up. In May 2022, my sister and I decided to embark on a program with a Personal Trainer to kick-start a way forward. We didnt want to join a big name gym and were exploring different options. How lucky we were to find The PT Centre. Even though this was not the first time I had worked successfully with a Personal Trainer, I was a bit anxious. Would I have the stamina to get fit again. Did I even want to put pressure on myself to show up at a gym on a regular basis? All I can say is that it was a great decision. Adam, Pat and Lydia are the best Trainers I have encountered. They make it fun. What you get from this team far surpasses anything you will find in a commercial gym. Since starting with PT Centre, I am making steady progress to achieving my goals without feeling that it is a struggle. The philosophy at PT Centre works with you as an individual, educating on nutrition and way of life vs deprivation through dieting. The exercise plan is top notch and varied and is switched up every 4 weeks so your body is constantly challenged. When a particular exercise may be more challenging for you, the trainer is ready with encouragement, as well as offering an alternative exercise to keep you progressing. Even though I am a naturally confident person, there is something different about the way you feel when you take charge of your life and make progress towards goals that previously were stalled. Adams philosophy for The PT Centre has created what I would describe as a unique gym environment. It is friendly and provides a great sense of community, but more importantly it works. It is designed to be sustainable for the long term and is not based on a quick fix. Staying motivated is easy when you feel supported and encouraged. The PT Centre provides that so what are you waiting for? Like me, you wont regret making that call. Thank you Adam and Team for providing such a great atmosphere to workout.

The PT centre really helped me with my mindset and consistency with training and nutrition. They are very knowledgable and were able to adapt the exercises for an injury that I had. Highly recommended!

I can't recommend The PT Centre enough. I started training with them before COVID on a 1:1 basis. Throughout COVID, they adapted to doing home workout sessions on Zoom and even provided us with some equipment free of charge to help us achieve more. The Zoom sessions created a community of people that would support each other through the sessions and as a result, through the lockdowns where we couldn't see anyone else. In addition to this, they arranged regular sessions where you can learn more about a particular topic, such as sleep or nutrition, and these sessions were such a hit that they have carried on since. Once the lockdowns started coming to an end, the format changed to a more group based focus, although 1:1 sessions remain an option. I was initially against switching to the group sessions, but I have to say I wouldn't go back to 1:1s unless I had to. You get to know the people at your regular time that you go, and meet new people if for some reason you want to go at a different time one day. You're all there for your own personal variation of a common goal, so everyone supports each other. Building on this community atmosphere, they have events like Tough Mudder, competition days, Christmas parties and more, where everyone gets together. They also do other sessions such as Cardio Club, Mixed Modal, and previously Running Club and Yoga. The PT Centre is more than just a gym where you lift some weights. It's an entire community where everyone knows everyone and supports each other without question.
