I was referred today to Hammond and dummer by my hospital, and am so happy I was! The customer care I received was amazing! Highly recommend, and won't go anywhere else in future, thanks to all of the team.

This is probably the most important recommendation I shall ever make; I was referred to them by another less equipped optician last October with concerns about my vision, they identified very quickly that I had a detached retina and contacted The John Radcliffe Hospital. They saved the sight in my eye because of the immediate action Hammond & Dummer had taken, I was totally unfortunate to have the same thing happen to my other eye last month, same process, after a phone call I was in the hospital two hours later and surgery with 24 hours! Your eye sight is one of the most important things you will ever have, this company is the best you will ever come across, lovely people that really care. Thank-you for your due diligence as a result I can see my lovely wife and my young daughter grow up!

Apparently, the service in store is great. But after 15 phone calls without an answer, I lost the will to live. Blinded by the complacency, frankly. BLINDED. Literally! This is a myopic approach to customer care and an area you need to focus on more.
