Nurtureville Nursery

Lovely nursery & a stable team that have done a great job turning around a challenging position post covid. Our kids are both very happy and stimulated here, with a lovely group of friends.

Lovely little nursery with a team who clearly care greatly for the children. There were a few staffing issues in spring 2022 (which I'd imagine led to some of the negative reviews here) but in fairness this was an issue that affected the whole sector. Team now seems really strong and focused on creating a wonderful environment for the kids.

Unfortunately this is not a good place to bring your kids. I strongly suggest other nurseries in the area, there are a few.

Perception is not reality with this nursery unfortunately. Serious breaches followed by a recent Ofsted investigation. Having been told when looking at the nursery that there was new management and this was bringing all good changes we found the opposite to be true. First the deputy manager and our child's key worker left, then the manager, and more workers from other children's rooms, then followed by the new key worker for our child. Regularly the pictures of our child showed them to be looking bored, sat alone and with vacant tired expressions, when at home they are engaging smiling and active never sitting alone. Regularly on drop off all children of all ages where together with limited staff, breaching the Ofsted quotas. Our child was picked up straight after a meal but had filthy hands from playing outside that hadn't been washed. We were emailed to say that an internal review was happening to address shortages etc but in fact it was an Ofsted investigation following complaints
