MK Glaziers

With many blown windows on the front of our new house, we were hounded aggressively by salesman looking to charge 10s of thousands for an entire set of new windows and frames (in this economy?!?) The frames were ok and we thought there must be a cheaper way to do this. Enter MK Glaziers who quoted just over 1100 for 16 units, a hinge and a cat door including labour - excellent value. If that were the end of it I wouldnt have put a review (since I never normally do) but we found Joe who looked after us polite, efficient and honest - we had the project done 3 weeks earlier than expected (based on lead times) and done in a single morning! You dont find many tradesmen like this these days - Great quality windows, great value and great service - well definitely be using these guys again.

Quality of product - good, seems to do the job Customer Service - awful, a 3rd party hired them to replace a window of ours that they had damaged. The labourer informed us that the window will be paid for via pro-forma, so our involvement was purely to open the door when they arrived to do the job. However, since then they used their conflict with payment issues with the 3rd party as means to consistently harass us with aggressive phone calls threatening with intellectual property rights despite the pro-forma conditions that we were initially led to believe. All of this while the 3rd party claims to have paid for the windows and could have possibly made a simple banking error. They are now threatening to "take the windows out" even though the 3rd party are still within the standard "30 days from month end" invoicing laws. The quantity of work would be considered small and us personally haven't paid for any of the service so still feel the necessity to write this review should tell you the significance of this experience is something that everyone should consider before going into business with them
