Stony Dental Practice

I haven't been to the dentist since I was 17 (I am now 30). Today I went in for treatment with Dr Ka Ha Leung and Miriam - they were both absolutely amazing and I can't recommend Dr K enough! Thank you for giving me a brand new smile (and saying that I looked like Sam Smith haha!) :D

Long wait for an appointment. Then a week before my appointment, they cancel. Has happened twice, for myself and for my son.

I cant really say i have ever had good service from here, from a dentist trying to repeatedly charge me over 1500 for a new bridge even though i am a nhs patient and should not be charged, she only stopped pushing for it when i took a nhs print out saying i'm not to be charged, complained to management but nothing happened. The past 12 months have not been great, i need 4 teeth out under anaesthetic, dentist put the work out to tender even though i asked to have the work done at the hospital, job was given to a private practice "maybe linked to Stony practice" waited months to be told they dont do anaesthetic work i need, complained again nothing happened, now waiting to be seen at the hospital getting on for a year since i asked to go there, They also keep pushing there cash cow "Oral Hygiene Visit" and i have been threatened with being taken off there practice list for complaining about it, the last few visits i have had to this practice i have not had the scale and polish i pay for, in fact the last dentist i seen bore this one said he was not here to clean my teeth, excuse me yes you are, i paid for it !.

Have a problem with a faulty crown and spoke with the manager 5 weeks ago when I went in the practice. Despite several calls for an update on the next steps, I have been ignored and not called back. Extremely poor customer service.
