After what felt like a long search where we entertained a range of builders and visited a number of their customers, we decided to engage Smart Fit Structures to build a ground floor extension. Plenty of planning sessions followed where Eric really got to understand what we hoping for and a schedule of work duly followed. Once work commenced, Eric gave daily progress reports and outlined what would be happening the following days. Inevitably, problems were encountered along the way but we were always kept in the loop so able to make informed decisions. Erics guys, none of them spring chickens, have a wealth of skill and experience, and it shows in their workmanship which is second to none. Every time we had questions or needed an opinion, often late @ night, Eric was always prepped and ready to discuss in the morning. The work was completed to a high standard, to the schedule and without any nasty surprises on the budget front. Theres always a spot of snagging to do, but Eric was as responsive as ever with the final job drawing approval from our discerning neighbours. The finish was so good that the outside space looked a bit of an eyesore in comparison. Erics guys set to transforming that space by laying a wraparound composite deck, erecting a canopy, and building a long and sharp looking retaining wall which complemented the extension beautifully. So good was their work, we engaged Eric again to replace the flooring across the back of the original house. Such was their attention to detail, it blended in really nicely. Finally, for the time being, we asked Eric to supply and fit some bi-fold doors to match those on the extension,. Time was pressing so they worked over their weekend to deliver yet another excellent job. When the next job come up, Ill be knocking on Erics door again; theyre such a rare find. I cannot recommend Smart Fit Structures highly enough.

We are thrilled with our garage conversion and extension. Obviously we embarked on the enterprise with a budget and trepidation. Our experience of builders is limited. Eric took our initial thoughts and transformed them into a staged solution. We decided Erics advice was right and did the extension first, then conversion. Eric project managed the work closely - 3 months quote was 3 months delivered, and Eric kept us informed every step with visits, mail, text, phone. The quality of Mariusz work is superb - a multi-skilled craftsman. Chris electrics are just as we asked for. Both solved technical issues they encountered. We exceeded our original budget - but this was our choice in consultation with Eric as we decided to make change additions to give us an enhanced solution. The result exceeds our expectations and we believe is reflected in the new capital value of our home. A stress-free experience: we would recommend you trust the team to give you a quality solution.
