        We stopped here on early Saturday eve 29/4/23. It was fairly busy..outside area very scruffy.. had a table booked we went in with our small dog and bought a drink and went to sit outside as a little early for our table. Other dogs there. When we went back in to ask for thr table we were directed to it and were about to sit down when another member of staff came over to say no dogs allowed on carpet area, note..LOOK AT THE STATE OF THE CARPET! I asked why.. and was told because of allergies and we had to sit on the hard floor area..what is the difference? And to be honest, Doug the Dog did look at the carpet in disgust! Then we were told it was at least an hour to wait for food..we decided this was the most unwelcoming pub we had ever visited and decided to get dinner from the amazing chinese take away nearby. I popped to the loo( didnt want it to be an entirely wasted visit did i) and the landlord might want to sort the horrific black mould on the ceiling if allergies are a concern! Thanks Gifford Park..you are top of our Pubs NEVER to visit or recommend! Have a nice day now!
