Chris Backhouse Chimney Sweep

I wasn't able to use the services of Mr. Backhouse as I lived outside of his radius of work. However, he recommended another person that could do the work and spent time explaining the wok I may need to undertake prior to being able to sweep an existing chimney liner that was disconnected from the stove due to building work I'd had done.

Called to arrange a chimney sweep several weeks. Said he was driving and to call him back later. No problem. Called - No answer. Tried for several days but no answer. Eventually I made other arrangements. He turned up at my house today (address given during initial brief phone call) unexpectedly while my wife was there and said we had an appointment arranged, which we absolutely did not! After explaining the mistake was on his end, not mine, he didnt like it. I wouldnt have made other arrangements if I had known he was coming. He then threw my wife's phone and shouted some expletives before leaving. As above, avoid like the plague.
