Simon is very good. He re-fretted my Gibson Les Paul Studio, fitted a new nut, and tone control for a very good price, and all done to a high standard. I now have a trusted luthier I can go to, after many disappointing experiences with other people, doing various jobs on my guitars in the past. I whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone who wants a good, reliable service, and a nice person to work with. April 2023 A new guitar = another job! A new nut, new bridge, & better inserts in the neck pocket to fix the neck more robustly for overall stability as it had been out of alignment and probably not as stable as it should have been. Simon did yet another great job, and the best luthier I have used for repairs and enhancements.

Absolutely over the moon with the work done to my guitar by smb. Amazing value for money and an all round brilliant service from a highly experienced luthier.I cant recommend enough and will continue to use without any doubt.

My Tele needed a setup and some TLC - and after Simon had some time with it, its come back playing better than ever. Very grateful for the care thats been taken, and to have my guitar playing like new no, better than when it was new. Recommended!
