Nice pub for drinks and welcoming staff. The interior needs a bit of sorting and decorating as the bar seating area did not feel very relaxed or welcoming.

Fantastic stay. The owner and staff were outstanding. Breakfast was amazing, the best hash browns EVER!! Also mentioned we were doing a 80th birthday tea party for my father and needed some cake stands. With that he gave us the middle part for the stand and gave use advices how to make our own. Would we come back? Definitely YES!!!!

We stayed at The Lazy Lion after a days sailing having previously eaten there in the past. Perfect accomodation and a great price. Our room (No:1) overlooked the garden and was bright and airy and very clean. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were a welcome treat. Toiletries were in the bathroom which was equally clean. Nice big towels and plenty of them. If one had to be slightly crytical it was that the shower coudl have been a bit more powerful. My wife need not have taken a hairdryer as there was one on the room. Next morning we had the breakfast which was all in cluded in the room rate and there as a great choice of cereals and/or cooked breakfast which included the full works, or crushed avocado or smoked salmon. All were superb and plenty of juice and coffee/tea. Having eaten at the Lion in the past the food is excellent. All in all great value for money and will definitely stay again. Thank you Ian and all the staff.
