Had recently moved into a bungalow and straight away my roof leaked. There was complications because I had a flat garage roof connected to my conservatory and main roof which had a box guttering running along the length of the back of our property. Trying to identify the source of the leak was difficult because water was visible in numerous areas such as the garage, conservatory and back room. I called a number of roofing companies, mainly local who eventually came out to quote and advise me. Unfortunately no one could really come up with a concrete diagnosis or where the true source of the problem was. All I was told was try this try that, could be this could be that. Then I contacted Jamie who came out within the hour and sat on my flat roof and told me exactly where my problem was and how it could be resolved. He must have spent at least 45 minutes with me going through the scenario of how he could deal with my problem. Jamie straightaway advised me that I had a box guttering running throughout the back of my house and that there was a weak spot between where the different roofs met and he could strip back the tiling and repair where the leaks were happening. Jamie filled me with confidence and trust so we planned in time for this work to be carried out. Work started in deepest darkest December where the weather wasnt good but Jamie came out to me and after stripping back everything showed me where the problems were. He then rebuilt my box guttering and replaced the garage flat roof taking pictures and talking me through each step as progress was made. The work was carried out and completed before Christmas and finally I had a secure roof. He also managed to source the tiles for my bungalow roof which were damaged or cracked which could have been a problem as they are quite old but somehow he managed to find them locally. I had another leak in June which was nothing to do with the work Jamie had previously done so again I contacted him and he came out just after the storms and told me where my problem was and did a temporary fix for me and has since come back and fixed that. I would highly recommend Jamie because he keeps his word, he does the work and fills you with confidence no matter what the circumstances are. If need be I would not hesitate to contact Jamie, he knows what hes doing and does a good job!!
