First good sandwich Ive had in London that didnt resemble something from a 1950s suburban dinner traywhite sliced bread with cucumbers just aint it, but Jolenes sandwiches definitely are!

Loved the interior of the restaurant, especially the candles on every table and even in bathroom. Jolene would be perfect for an evening date with a glass of wine or just grabbing pastries with coffee in the morning. The food was so delicious, every dish was unique in its own way. Loved the whole experience! Travelled all the way from west london and it was definitely worth it;)

We had dinner at Jolene on a Saturday and it was lovely! Many reviews mentioned before but the service is perfect, everyone is approachable and friendly, happy to give recommendations but not pushy or trying too hard. There was a slight mixup with one of our orders which they handled very graciously and knocked some bits off the bill - a nice surprise! The food was delicious and unique we had the focaccia, arancini and asparagus (the best asparagus Ive had in my life which is saying a lot as Im a vegetarian!) and the pesto pasta and lamb rump. Every dish had a little something extra to it (the crunchy potatoes and asparagus in my pesto genovese for example) and my partner and I were both eagerly waiting to see how the next meal will surprise us. The desserts were great too, their tiramisu is rightfully very popular but we also tried the camomile and strawberry panna cotta was which was equally delicious and a bit more adventurous! Our waiter had great recommendations for wine and I found myself ordering glass after glass of their dry white which was amazing! Overall, this is one of those (very few) places in London that deserve the internet hype - its a very cool little spot with great decor thats not trying too hard and a food & drinks menu that is equally humble but sure to impress.
