Half Moon Mildenhall

So once again, my wife gave the half moon the benefit of the doubt, despite one or two bad experiences. This time just about put the last nail in the coffin. Steak sizzler came out with nothing resembling a sizzle as not even hot enough to melt the cheese. The peppers were drowning in water so not appetizing. The steak itself inedible as 99% gristle. After complaining she was asked if she would like a replacement, but on saying that she had been put off, and could she have a free dessert instead, she was totally ignored so left very upset and hungry. My wife was a regular customer and used to go in most weeks with a group of friends, none will be going back again. So because of poor customer service, customers lost.

Food is by far improved from my last experience a few years ago. I live local and I stopped coming because the food was awful. Thought Id give it a try today and I didnt regret it. Food was fresh, well presented and very big portions.

Dirty ,old ,slow, pub, the food was the best thing there, vat average.

Lovely food and staff. Got a bigger serving than expected for the main super special dish. Free desert with super special deal on Thursday - fab food deals all week
