I visit a friend who lives on a narrow boat moored there. It's one of the nicest best kept marinas I have visited. The management is excellent...maintain the place well...enforce the rules for everyone's benefit while at the same time being kind and compassionate. Not an easy thing to do...rather like herding cats.

This is a private quite, peaceful residential narrow boat, floating home & chalets area. Every one is friendly & the grounds are regularly managed. Although a private site, there is a public footpath running along the river to the left when entering the site which leads to the lock to enable walkers to head right to Mildenhall or left to Prickwillow. Please be aware that dogs are welcome provided they are on a lead at all times & owners pick up the poo & place in the correct bins provided.

Always a great welcome - largely live-aboard boaters but visitors usually accommodated.
