Alex Evans Photography

Alex was our wedding photographer and he was brilliant. We chose not to have a pre wedding shoot and Alex had also not done a wedding at our venue before. None of this was a problem at all. Alex arrived early to scout out the venue in search of ideal photo opportunities within the grounds. He was really friendly he put us at ease straight away. He slotted in and felt like a friend by the end of the day. We had a friend film the wedding starting out a videography career and Alex was really helpful and shared a few tricks of the trade. Alex was keen to get some golden hour shots in the hotel vineyard so stayed later than he should have to achieve this, and we are so grateful as the shots he managed to achieve were just stunning! We received a sample of photos the very next morning and the complete online album within 5 weeks, followed by the beautifully presented Usb and selection of photos. If we did our day all over again we would absolutely book Alex again. He delivered a great service (even put my veil in when my bridesmaids had vanished and I was clueless on what to do!)

Alex photographed our wedding in May 2022. As you will see from Alexs portfolio he does an incredible job! We are so thrilled with our wedding photos. I felt as though we barely saw Alex but I think thats just because he moulded into the wedding party so effortlessly. My husband and I were so distracted we almost didnt cut the cake or have our first dance (we had to be prompted) but Alex stayed to make sure he captured these moments and for that I couldnt be more grateful! Alex went above and beyond and we couldnt recommend him highly enough.

Alex did such a good job at our wedding. He was very understanding when our first initial date was cancelled due to covid and was more than happy to help with our new wedding date. Alex did everything that was asked, we wanted very natural candid pictures which he delivered to a high quality. Alex was very easy to talk to and was all round amazing. Would highly recommend.

We hired Alex for our wedding which took place in July 2021. From the beginning of hiring Alex he was attentive, welcoming and incredibly friendly. He was always contactable right up to the big day. Being nervous on the big day I expected to be a bit shaky. But Alex did amazing in not only making the photos super simple, but allowing us to get ready, have the ceremony and have the day of our dreams. He was so non-intrusive it was hard to know that he was even there! Then when it came to getting our photos done on our own with me and my new wife. Alex was great, spontaneous, huge amounts of energy that kept us just laughing and smiling and enjoying every second of our day. I honestly couldn't recommend Alex highly enough.
