The engineer did not turn up on the morning I had arranged to be off work and when I arranged to be off the following morning the engineer obviously didn't want to be there. He was obnoxious and rude. After taking the alarm bell apart the previously working alarm stopped working and I was told I needed a replacement. He whisked the 'non working' parts away (he left all the other discarded batteries and packaging all over the house but obviously didn't want to leave something that was useful to him!!). He then discovered that the replacement he normally carries in the van was the wrong item and I would be charged for another engineer to visit. He then rushed off without answering any queries telling me that another engineer would sort it out. Another engineer duly arrived and replaced the part charging me an agreed price. I have now been charged additional fees on top of the agreed sum and despite repeated emails have had no replies. I dealt with Future Security Systems over the past 2 or 3 years and have always found them a pleasure to deal with but sadly since they have been taken over by BWS Standfast I can not recommend them.

Moved into an older house recently, with a rather old and decrepit system, a friend recommended Future, so I thought I'd give them a go. I spoke to Future about replacing it, they came out within 48hours to give us a quote and also disconnect the old alarm. Very helpful engineer, he checked all the places we might need securing and gave us some tips on how to make out garage and back garden safer. The same engineer came back a week or so later and fitted a simple, but good little alarm. Iwould highly recommend.

After years of having my alarm serviced with no problems by Richard I was aprehensive when I was informed that Future Alarms had merged with a bigger company. I left a large national company to go to Future as I was not happy with their prices, engineers, attitude or performance. Future were a breath of fresh air and now I was being told another company had bought my 'local security friends' I couldn't have been more wrong. Adam called me to say he was on his way, was polite and solved an annoying issue with the panel that we thought we would have to live with. Needless to say I am very happy I have more of my 'local security friends'.
