M.C.B. Painting & Decorating

Matt recently finished repainting the entire outside of our 6-bedroom house (to a different colour). It became clear very quickly that we could simply leave him to it as he knew exactly what he was doing, he was very focused on the job and extremely professional and respectful. All of the downpipes came off and were painted, all the gutters were removed, he even replaced corners of the eves which were rotten, (he had to make them bespoke to fit what was there previously). We had recently had new windows and bifold doors installed and we were initially worried that paint would get on the windows or the frames. We definitely did not need to worry, he is most probably the most fastidious tradesman we have ever used, everything was carried out to perfection, he screened all windows and sills and tidied up after himself each evening before he left. He was with us over 6 weeks and it was nice to hear him sing along to his radio all day. A very happy professional who takes great pride and interest in his work. We have also hired him to repaint all our kitchen and utility cupboards, which he started doing on rainy days. He is coming to finish these off when he finishes his next job. Lastly and very important for us is that we have 3 dogs, and we are very cautious about their security, Matt was so respectful of this and always ensured gates and doors were closed behind him to ensure our pooches did not come to any harm. Matthew did a fantastic job painting our kitchen/dining room. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his work and he was always willing to provide help and tips for our DIY. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly and professional painter and decorator.

We couldn't fault Matthew. He came several times to ensure that we chose the correct paint, was always friendly and cheerful, did exactly as he said he would, and beyond by engaging us where additional decisions could be useul; unlike some trades where they have assumed what we want! His fees are very good, and again unlike some trades he cleaned up after each day and removed all waste.
