Had to go in today and they were amazing. They made a very difficult procedure so easy and were very gentle and understanding. I felt so cared for and looked after. It was really as pleasant as it could be and Im so grateful

This is an excellent doctors surgery. All the staff are lovely and will do their utmost to help you. If you have an urgent problem you are called the same day and are seen if necessary. Dr. Humphrey deserves a special mention, she has been extremely supportive and helpful to our family over the years and especially now as we face a difficult time. She keeps you informed every step of the way and is truly concerned for your welfare. Emma too, the care co-ordinator has been a rock and is extremely kind and caring. Thank you Hope House

I lived in Hope House during World War 2 I remember the Police Station was on the corner opposite. My Grandmother owned it Mr and Mrs Herbert Plummer. They had two children Wilfred and Gwendoline (married name Edwards). Wilfred was father to me and my brother David. We were very young and lived there all through the war. Gwendoline had three sons - Ivor, Claude and Trevor who also lived there. I remember the Dentist used to call every Thursday which really scared me! Me, my brother and cousin Trevor used to go walking a lot up over the batch by the coal mine. Went to School by the Church just along the road from Hope House and loved playing by the stream and looking for tiny minnows and loggerheads. At the end of the war we went back to Bristol and later on I married snd I now live in Torquay. I have never forgotten Radstock even though there was a war on I have very happy memories. My name now is Brenda Hacker. I don't have any photos unfortunately.
