Since Dr Sebastian has taken over the level of care, activities, interest and genuine interest in the residents has escalated. Our Mother has come along leaps and bounds and was not expected to. We can see our Mother truly enjoys the carers and nursing staff that take care of her and they, in turn, truly care for Mum. It is something I did not expect to see and am so happy to have Mum there. All the staff are wonderful. Kudos to Dr Sebastian for making this change in such a short time. Family and friends are welcomed and made a cup of tea and take part in the activities. Now we have resident and family meetings with music, food and fun! Excellent!

Not anticipating that my mother would ever need to go into a nursing home Birch Trees proved to be a wonderful place for her to be. All the staff were caring, friendly and there was always someone on hand to talk to. They made her last weeks of life extremely comfortable and I cant thank them all enough.

Just wanted to write a few lines to thank Birchtrees nursing home for the wonderful care they gave my mother 'Mary Harper ' for the last 3 1/2 years. When she came to you in 2014 she was very poorly and had been in hospital for quite a while, in fact she had said goodbye to the grandchildren as we didn't think she would last a couple of months, but with the brilliant care from the staff at Birchtrees she rallied round. I live in Suffolk and I had no concerns about her wellbeing when I returned home from visiting her. Thank you once again to Kevin and all the staff. Colin Harper
