The Swan Inn

on arrival i was upgraded to a four poster room, the room was clean, quiet and beautifully furnished. the staff were fantastic and demonstrated how to use the amazon fire stick. The Swan is beautiful old building with a rich history. be aware there isn't a shaving point in the bathroom (but what do you expect from a 400+ year old inn?). housekeeping was brilliant and tea, coffee, bottled water and other complimentary items were refreshed each day. Parking is based in the nearby Grange Leisure Center carpark. the perfect place to stay if you are looking to explore the South Downs. I would certainly stay here again, and can highly recommend it.

We booked a night in the Swan Inn for somewhere to relax after a long day hike in the beautiful South Downs. When we arrived we instantly fell in love with this old country pub, the bar had a good selection of drinks, dinner was tasty and the friendly evening atmosphere topped off a day to remember. A big thank you to all the staff for your fantastic service and we are already looking for more walks in the area for another trip

The Swan Inn has a lovely home away from home feel to it. The location is great, with the centre of the town right around the corner, with lovely one of a kind shops nearby. There are also so many picturesque countryside walks right on the door step! The staff are welcoming and happy to help day or night, and the rooms have been decorated with such attention to detail. Would recommend to any friend!
