We called here for some meat while passing on the canal. We bought homemade burgers and sausages and a marinated sirloin to barbecue. All were really tasty and cooked well. The sausages were meaty. We also got a piece of marinated pork fillet with peppers that came in a sauce and a tinfoil tray that I could use to cook it. I roasted that in the oven the day after. It looked a small piece but after it was cooked and carved there was plenty for two people. And it was so tender -delicious. My partner also had a homemade steak pie which had a lot of tender steak in it and he said it was nicely cooked and really tasty. The man who served us was personable and patient as we were deciding what to buy. A real find: a proper butcher and one I would revisit. Thank you.
