        Owner of this campsite helped me out on Boxing Day when my campervan ran out of LPG high up in the Pennines. Despite it being a public holiday he returned my missed call within a few minutes. He realised that I wouldn't get a gas refill within 50 miles during this holiday period and suggested that if I drove the half hour to Leekworth Caravan Park he could help me out. What a great guy. He has made such a difference to my winter camping trip out in the high Pennines in these icy temperatures. While I was at Leekworth Caravan Park I could see it is a great site, really well maintained and cared for, and such a fabulous location. It will be a great place to stay for a week in the spring when it re-opens for camping.
