Historic grade II listed parish church, 1878 by renowned church architect C. Hodgson Fowler on the site of a former medieval church. Unfortunately, closed because of dry rot, so not possible to see inside.

It is somewhere I have been many times since I was 16, definitely one of my favourite places to go to. Being a Geordie and with all the football "rivalries" that we have in the North East. Saying that the river Tees is one of my favourites is probably not the best thing to say - really I mean honestly surely we are all just people who are trying to live their lives as best they can. Although all that aside this was a brilliant day I just really do love being here.
