        Lovely owners, and staff who treat you as friends. Truly great local experience, traditional pub, set in an historical 1800's building. They have a lovely outdoor area too for summer, and they are dog friendly. They have a pool table, and a juke box. It can get busy on weekends and can be a bit loud inside, especially with karaoke evenings. They have an attached restaurant too, with great food, and a fireplace, I love a fireplace. Best to book, but they do accommodate walk-ins. There is limited but free parking at the venue, but there are also local bus/taxi services. Pub closes at 11:30pm Sunday to Thursday, and 12:30am on Fri and Sat nights.

        Great birthday with family members staff very pleasant and helpful food great though I had mash couldn't resist trying the chips absolutely fantastic will be back again. Maybe even make it my local
