A hidden gem. Peaceful, sheltered spot, perfect for watching wildlife and enjoying nature. Woodland created around the turn of the millennium, and already well established. Carpets of woodland flowers adorn the wood in spring and early summer, including bluebells, red campion, sweet woodruff, and greater stitchwort. The meadow has cowslips, plenty of vetches, and yellow rattle. A mixed hedge has been planted along the fence around the playing fields to connect this area with the rest of the beck corridor, and adjacent scrubland.
