Right if you want mouse problems, deposits taken away from you after you clean the room, burglars breaking in multiple times, hot water on a time cap! Then please please listen to me! This company prays on Tennant's! Students and renters alike! Run for the hills! Because this company does not help! I was with them for two years! One of the things I will regret for the rest of my life!

Rubbish , would try and charge you at any opportunity given. Fire alarm goes off- 50. Why not show us how to turn it off. Money grabbing company. Avoid. That Cheryl Barber and her lot are all thieves, maintenance issues such as fridge and washing machine are left to waaaaay to long had to apply pressure on them to sort it out. I had to have several cold showers because the boilers were timed, what nonsense. As if my bills were not all included. Avoid at all cost. This shouldnt even be a last resort, would have better luxury and respect on the streets than you would with this stupid company.

The ladies at 1st degree were absolute stars from start to finish. From helping me find the right place in a short space of time to providing a prompt and fair check out report once I had left the property, I cannot fault them at all. Thank you!

I spent 3 years renting 3 separate properties with 1st Degree and can honestly say that they were superbly professional throughout and the accommodation they offer is to a beautiful standard. When there were any maintenance problems (which was hardly ever but you know, these things can happen even in the best of properties!), they were dealt with so, so swiftly. A fair and logical service is offered and if you treat the property with respect and keep things tidy/clean you won't have any issues with the return of your deposit. The ladies in the office are amazing, and I can see the business is going from strength to strength. I strongly advise renting with 1st Degree throughout your time at university; you won't find another accommodation company that operates to this standard! Especially in Middlesbrough!
