Go to any surgery but here. It should never take weeks to see a doctor or access vital medications. For the sake of your health and the care you deserve, don't ever choose this surgery.

I've had an ongoing issue now with repeat medication for asthma and copd for months. Basically, the problem is that the gap between issue dates is too long, which means that I'm running out of each inhaler before I'm able to re-order online. Every month I'm having to custom order via the online portal, only to have this kicked back, despite me each time, making it perfectly clear that I am about to or have run out of medication Pretty dangerous for someone in my position with bad asthma and copd (And Im currently under the supervision of a consultant monitoring my condition, along with nodules on my lung, amongst other things) I have been through this rigmarole nearly every month for the past year or so. I am not overusing the inhalers. Although I do need to use ventolin every 5 hours or so. The dates between issue need to be shortened. This has still not been actioned despite numerous conversations with Doctors, and Nurses during reviews, and telephone based staff. Nobody listens or does anything. I am sick of having to go through this stress every month, not to mention the risk that this is exposing me to (I have now run out of Ventolin completely. I am down to the red on Symbicort Ill have to ring 111 to get an emergency prescription for both I can only do this after the surgery shuts at 6pm The idea is that prior to that you should contact your own Surgery But you cant Because nobody answers the phone - More stress). The service at this surgery used to be A1 - It is now shocking with little or no thought for patient welfare. Its impossible to get through on the phone now as mentioned. Im actually going to leave and will register for another local practice. In summary, Im stressed out, worn out and sick and tired with the lack of support and ineptitude displayed by this surgery I will be posting this review to the NHS site and all other relevant online platforms. As an aside to this, I just received a text from Dr Harry 'Advising' that I should only be using Ventolin every few days.. Mind boggling. If only that were the case.
