        I strongly advise everyone to avoid Smarthomes of 65 Albert Road Middlesbrough (the trading name of McKenzie and Moncur)). They are the worst firm I have ever dealt with and are totally unreliable and untrustworthy . They supplied a new front door which was poorly fitted. After just EIGHTEEN MONTHS it began to fall apart and the outer covering of the door detached from the under layer. They assured me dozens of times that they were on to it and would sort it. Nothing happened . I was assured at Christmas 2020 that the door would be replaced in the new year. It was not . It is now a year since they assured me it would be sorted out and they have done NOTHING. Their after sales service is non existent and their guarantee not worth the paper it is written on. I have lost a lot of money through dealing with Smarthomes. Be warned and avoid them. I wish I had
