Most of these reviews are faked, John Taylor, Jo Taylor, Aaron fisher all work for Parker Barras commercial property agents or have an association with Parker Barras Commercial Property Lettings The fact the reviews are faked tells you all you need to know about this company. I rented a property from them in July 2020, they told me that repairs would be done to the property when I moved in, they gave me a 30 day "rent-free period" This was sold to me on the understanding the repairs would be done in 30 days, not so! In fact, it was an absolute nightmare renting a property through these agents. The property they let to me had water cascading through the roof, despite several emails, phone calls, etc the repairs went undone and ended up costing me 1800 in damaged stock, overall I lost near 7,000 whilst renting this building as I had to rent a second building just to store stock so it would not be damaged further. On more than one occasion I arrived at my premises to find the doors open, meaning I was not the only one with a key or access and no one was there, luckily I did not get robbed. There was several leaks from the roof, 10 plus, they did send someone to patch up holes but that did not fix any of the problems and the leaks remained, I never had my own electric meter and had to share with an adjoining unit, there was no functional toilet, I had complaints from neighboring houses who had said there was dangerous aspects to the outside of the building, namely sharp metal rusty sheeting coming away from the property, loose parts of the roof leaning into an adjacent property where they had children, I also had my own cat which came with the property I guess, the cat was okay and was probably the best part of renting the building in honesty, it had various ways to enter and exit the property through the holes in the wall so at least the cat could remain dry even if my stock could not. Parker Barras will literally take on any property and rent it out, they're not concerned with the condition of the property and clearly do not do any checks on the landlords, so if you are looking to rent out a run-down property they might be worth calling as I have no doubt they can help you rent it out. Very unprofessional, I would advise anyone to avoid them and find a reputable property letting agent instead, I should have done my homework prior to using this company, lesson learned, money lost and no resolution offered by Parker Barras. AVOID!!! EDIT: 11/11/2022 Hi John... I just seen your response, so I've added some images and videos of the property that you let me, noteworthy it's been over a year and you still have not even bothered to contact me to resolve any of the complaints. Just to clarify, I did not make any arrangements with the landlord you said you would resolve the repair issues I had raised, in fact I never met the landlord only you! Yes I did agree to a fully repairing and insuring lease on the basis that you actually said you'd fix the problems noted, you fixed none of them... that building was an insurance liability and you still leased it out and asked me to sign that agreement even with the knowledge you had of the building. Again I agreed no works with my landlord because John I never met him, you dealt with everything, poorly I might add. You did not provide a first class service you cost me near 7,000 and behaved like cowboys. Lastly I'm not in any way sustaining attempts to damage your business, it is simply the truth, see the images and the videos I've added... or are you disputing them? if anyone is damaging your business it is you and your lack of professional conduct, no due diligence on either the building nor the landlord, I would think that is 101 kinda stuff.
