Village Wines

Popped in to grab a few beers the other day after getting fish and chips from across the road. They had an offer of 3 small bottles for 5, which I chose. The guy behind the counter didnt know how to put one of the bottles through the till, he spent 2 minutes trying to work it out then gave up and made me choose another from the shelf, which I didnt really want but I did so anyway. He then spent another 2 minutes trying to put that through the till, while I stood there waiting with my 5. He then made a phone call for another minute or so to someone to try and put my beers through the till which he still could not work out. All I wanted were those 3 beers and as my food was going cold, in the end I had to leave the store and went to Sainsburys instead. Such a shame as it looks quite good from the outside!

Really well laid out. Nice wide isles. Great friendly staff and a really great selection of wine and beer. I highly recommend popping in.

Great selection of world beers. Plenty of good wines and cigars! A great new addition to the area. Really friendly too.
