Visited last weekend retreat. The accommodation for a retreat was way below expected standard. My bedroom cleanliness and decor was not what was expected. Bedding, curtains and carpets were shabby and damp smelling. The social space and garden areas were also lacking cleanliness and care. We expected a calm serene garden but the furnishings were damp and mouldy and grubby looking. Gail kept us fed with her home cooking which suited me personally but was not as advertised for retreat cuisine. Meditations by Audrey were excellent and I personally benefitted greatly from them. She was very concerned that everyone benefitted and got as much out of them as possible. I also had a reading from her which was amazing. Heather who did the Bowen and tai-chi was very professional. Only comment here is that there was no sanitising of the beauty bed both days between clients which would be normal practice for any therapist. The Sunday session of Hopi ear candling and a 5 minute face massage seemed a bit of a waste of time and a lot of waiting around. Ive got to say though I met the loveliest people and hope to stay in touch with them and I did leave feeling lighter and brighter. The cost though is way too much, you could have a luxury hotel/ spa weekend for less.

Retreat Centre and guest rooms in rural atmosphere. Excellent amenities and interesting surrounding garden.

I recently attended a tarot card workshop. I found both the atmosphere and location, warm friendly and relaxing. I don't particularly find clinical settings to my taste or budget. The content and delivery was excellent. Informative and structured in a relaxed format. It was good value for money and I felt I left both lighter and aware. I have formed new aquaintance, that are like minded. I will be looking to book other workshops available.

Had a lovely weekend with Gail and Audrey. Felt very welcome, food really lovely and the treatments made me feel relaxed and peaceful. This was the reason I went. Thank you Ladies.
