Dissapointed, had numerous issues. Front door not closing correctly , fixed quickly , clock not working, patio door not opening both fixed on day 3, broken kitchen blind not fixed , no thermostat for heating, have to adjust each radiator manually, Bluetooth speakers with no instructions, big sleepers around caravans too close to parking and chipped paint on my wheel. Lodges very close together and no privacy when in hot tub. Lodge was well specced and clean. Park was clean , pub next door was lovely and garden center has an antique center. Overall could've been so much better . Was offered some cash off to go again, but no refund. Won't be using hoseasons again, as their agent they did nothing too

Lodge inside was nice. Decked area No lighting. Health & Safety Big concern. Lodges to close to each other for privacy and noise. Not a relaxing break. Nothing to do on site, Nature trail walk full of mud. Very poor compared to other sites i have been to. Dog-friendliness: Had to use a torch on a night upon letting my dog out on the decking as so dark i could not see.

We stayed here 17th March 2023-20th March. We booked due to previously staying in Aysgarth Lodges expecting the same quality. The location was lovely and park was really clean and quiet. However the lodge we stayed in was pet friendly so we expected a trace of animals to some extent. The sofas smelt horrendous of wet dog and the bedroom headboard was covered in dog hairs. The hot tub was also displaying an error code everytime we tried to use it. I called reception to share my concerns, a lady came to the lodge to inspect it and brought us some air freshener, I was having to cover the sofa so I could sit to nurse my baby because I didnt want her to directly sit on the sofa due to the smell. The lady from reception told me to use the bed sheets from the spare room to put over the sofa so we could sit on it, I found this so bad and believe we should have been moved to a properly cleaned lodge (especially due to having a 12 week old baby). On our final evening someone from out of hours explained how to restart the hot tub from the mains so we were having to do that to be able to use it. Overall Im just really disappointed with the stay, the lodge was lovely but the cleanliness really ruined it. The holiday park is the complete opposite of Aysgarth Lodges and sadly we will not be returning. I have privately messaged the park asking how to complain and never received a response hence the review. I thought the deal we received was too good to be true.
