Mickleton Hills Farm Wedding Venue

We got married here on the Easter weekend just gone and there aren't enough words to say how great this venue is. Not only picture perfect setting, but the level of service is first class. From the communication beforehand to the organisation and standard of staff on the actual day, it exceeds what you would even hope. All the guests commented how great the place is, and I'm pretty certain David is Superman in disguise as he seemed to be everywhere at the same time. Get married here, you won't regret it.

Feb 2022 wedding (late review): Although late, today is our first wedding anniversary, so it feels apt to post today. From beginning to end the entire experience of getting married at Mickleton Hills Farm was a dream - and we had to postpone our wedding twice due to Covid! David and Sammy were exceptional from our very first visit to the farm. We went with family to look around and both David and Sammy greeted us warmly and showed us around the venue. Neither were pushy or drilling sales / extras like we had experienced elsewhere. The venue itself is beautiful, nestled in the Cotswolds near Chipping Campden and Mickleton. The long, tree-lined driveway leads you through the fields and onto the barns and farmhouse. Having our wedding here meant we could choose our own catering, floristry and decor. This meant a bit of homework and organisation on our part, but made for a personalised and bespoke day overall. Hainving the venue from Thursday to Sunday meant we could setup the venue and celebrate with family the day before our wedding on the Saturday. By the end of the weekend, we truly felt that the venue was home. Not only for us, but the family as well. Mid-wedding planning, Covid came along and halted everything. However, Sammy was always on hand to answer any questions we had via email or zoom to allay any fears or anxieties, and, to be frank, was amazing. Leading up to the wedding, we were allowed to revisit the venue so we could visualise some of our ideas and talk them over with either David or Sammy. The venue communicated well with our band and the sound system ran perfectly through both barn areas on offer. We had compete control of the music all day, which allowed us to create different atmospheres for different sections of the day. The weekend of the wedding itself was the best weekend of our lives. David was on hand to help with every question or query. And everything was dealt with calmly and cooly; all ran smoothly. David made sure every mini-event or planned part of the day happened exactly as we wanted. We were lucky with the weather and the winter sun served only to embellish the warm red tiles of the barn roof, bright green grass and surrounding fields beneath the blue sky. Our photos are exquisite. We can't speak higher of the venue and all its staff in general. Makes us sad we are not doing it again, and, if possible, we'd love to come back and stay at the cottages out of season for an anniversary get away. Recommend.
