Amazing nursery, all three of my children came here and it gave them the best possible start. Children have free access the outdoor area with chickens, gingerbread house, mud kitchen, sandpit and climbing frame. Forest school gives them the chance to explore and learn in nature. The staff are so caring and professional and it is a credit to the nursery that many are parents of children who have gone on to school. What a magical place to spend your early years, I cannot recommend it highly enough!

St Michaels Community Nursery is a wonderful place! My son attended for 2 and a half years and has loved it! He has been so well looked after by all the staff and loves the learning that he does there! Outdoorsy and nurturing. Perfect!

We have nothing but positives to say about St Michael's. Our daughter was there for 1 year before school and the amount she grew, learnt and gained in confidence is incredible. She was signed up to an different nursery but I am so glad we decided to move her to St Michael's as the experiences she was given really shaped her. She started St Michael's unwilling to try new foods and wasn't keen on getting dirty. By the end of the year we were regularly being updated on new snacks she'd tried at the snack table and when we asked what she'd been up to she would say the mud kitchen! The staff are all absolutely incredible going above and beyond for every child, they are all attentive and approachable and we frequently had Tapestry updates filled with all the adventures of the day. Our daughter still talks highly of Jennie, Lizzie and Georgie and how she's excited for when her younger brother can join them! I am so grateful for the setting that St Michael's provides and that we were recommended there. Looking forward for our 2nd to start his journey there in September!

St Michael's is a wonderful nursery and my son had an amazing experience there. The staff are incredible, so caring, nurturing and approachable. The combination of indoor and outdoor facilities made it the obvious choice for me and the forest school sessions were fun, educational and memorable for my son

I don't know where to start really. The nursery was recommended to us by a close family friend and it was the best choice we have ever made for our son. He loved every day he spent there, always happy to go in at drop off and always smiley at pick up. His behaviour, speech and confidence grew day by day ... I guess that's because children get a lot of attention there and all activities are well planned ahead so the kids learn something new every day. The Forest School sessions were a great hit too and if you think this is just taking kids to the woods then you are in for a big surprise. We have moved on to a big school now but our son often takes us for a walk in the area, we look through the window and he tells us about any changes to the inside ... We then go to follow the forest school paths which he's visited with his teachers and little friends. Last day was too emotional, knowing we won't be coming back didn't sit well with us nor our son. Overall, we had a great start over at St Michael's Nursery and do recommend it to everyone.
