Box Hill has a number of routes for walking or hiking. One of them is the Stepping Stones walk. This is a 2 mile circular walk, which takes you yo the River Mole and back up Box Hill. On the way, you can cross the river via the Stepping Stones or use the footbridge. When we visited, the river was too high, so the Stepping Stones were covered.

Quiet, clean, easy to park, could be more signage. Definitely worth a visit but need to go another way as there are works being carried out by Box hill viewing point so you cannot reach from that side. Ask the locals, they will show you the way. Be adventurous, get out of the box and enjoy nature. Great mood and energy guaranteed plus you get to pet some doggies.
