Micklefield station located on the outskirts of Leeds helps supply a great transportation to Leeds, Halifax and other bigger cities around the axis. It is a small station in itself with no roof, but it surely serves a very big purpose. At least it saved me a lot of money I would have spent on taxis

It's a small and calm train station with two platforms. To get to the other platform, you need to go out of the station and walk around in road and is bit confusing if you are not used to. I couldn't find an office there. There is one ticketing machine in one of the platform, not on both platform. Waiting lounge is there on both platforms. You get train to Leeds and York from here.
