Paid 860 for MOT and service doing on my car, lasted 2/3weeks now my car won't start. I've had this car for 6 years and had no problems with it when using other garages. I called this morning and i need a new battery aswell. I'd recommend customers using someone else.

Had a code come up on my dash, checked it out and it was a faulty light. Went to Wilko Motosave and they fitted me a new one in no time at all. Great customer service.

Avoid! Attended a booking for tyres replacing. The tyre fitter spent more time doing his paperwork "health check" on the vehicle and trying to con me out of money than actually fitting the tyres and doing his job. Especially once he heard me say that the MOT was due in a few weeks. At the end he advised the front brake pads are "dangerously low" and MUST be changed or it will fail the MOT. He then advised that the rear discs and pads were also in bad condition. Especially the discs. Once again quite dangerous, especially due to the corrosion on the disc. Once we asked him to show us exactly where the issue was on the rear, it was quite clear he's trying to con people to spend money on things that don't need replacing. He even mentioned both rear calipers aren't performing correctly too. For example, the centre of the disc has some corrosion on there and the pad isn't making full contact which is due to the caliper that needs replacing. Once we pointed out that the rear pads are quite small and don't make contact at the centre of the disc where the hub is, his response was "oh I didn't realise they were that small, sorry I didn't see that" So how exactly did he come to the conclusion that there's so many things that are wrong and need replacing when he didn't even look? Scam? Conman? Hoping the customer knows nothing about cars and worries it will need these to pass the MOT? As I can't reply directly, here's my response. The date I attended was 02/08/22, arrived in the car park at 12:51. Booking was confirmed for 13:00. Last 4 digits of the registration 3GVW White mitsubishi outlander. You fitted 2x Dynamo Hiscend 225/55/18. Now your store manager had the option to discuss this recently instore after making a comment to me when I purchased some adhesive a few weeks ago. I also requested a copy of the "safety inspection report" in store to take away. I was declined the opportunity to take a copy away or even take a photo, despite it having my vehicle information on it. No doubt, you were aware that I'd make that information public and shine a light on the incident. I attended the store to collect something shortly after this and the person who worked on the vehicle was currently engaged in an argument consisting of staff and a customer. You were all reviewing CCTV in relation to an alligation that something to do with the customers brakes and wheel weren't tightened up correctly which resulted in an accident... Ring any bells? I'll purchase items off the shelf just like any other shop, no problem. But I wont be booking in for any work on any of my vehicles anytime soon. Thanks
