The pond pump and filtration system installed by Brad and his company was NOT OPERATIONAL and the workmanship was woefully inadequate and shoddy. The UV light never worked properly at all and the water circulation was a joke! The second pond was not moving or circulating at all, the pipework was not even solvent welded or fixed at all and kept popping out, and we found a jay cloth stuffed into one of the pipes. The gravel areas had gravel thrown in that was not even properly prepared and washed before installation so those 2 square areas are clogged and useless- with no water flow at all through them. The UV lightbulb was squeezed into an area not meant for the proper UV treatment of waterthe bulb must be submerged in water in order for it to stay cool, otherwise it will keep blowinghence the lovely growth of algae and green mucky water. Evolution Aqua even prescribe a standalone UV filter. The team left a ridiculous drain pipe that sticks out of the pump, so that the whole area floods every three days, putting ancient yew hedge at risk, not to mention causing a slipping hazard on the pavement. Plus, the pipe is so close to the concrete slap that it could undermine the slab very easily. Common practice is to install a soak away at the very least. You also left that pump area in a shambles with huge stones everywhere. I requested a small amount of money to rectify all that was messed up, and they ignored my request, wrote excuses, and I never heard from them again. Service: Pond maintenance

No amount of calling, leaving messages with their switched on receptionists or filling in the web form resulted in a call back. Oh well.

We had a small pond in our patio in a state of decrepitude (30 years old). Everyone I phoned to restore it lost interest when learning its size (4ft x 3ft). Except for Aquamaintenance. Brad and his lovely hard working team (George, Andy, Ollie, Morgan, Paul) transformed the pond, with imagination and expertise (in cold, wet weather). Nothing was too much trouble. Like sourcing just four patio slabs the same as the ones laid 30 year's ago. We are so delighted and grateful with the result. George and team also relaid the patio which was in a woeful state and rebuilt a retaining wall that thought it was the leaning tower of Pisa. All this was very hard work but done cheerfully.
