They promised me my claim then they changed their minds, a lady under the name of Kim accepted my claim, it was outside the allowance time but I sustained my injury within the allowance period, she understood and empathized with me, put my claim in after all the paperwork I handed in them they rejected it, misconduct and miscommunication, dont use it, but what did you expect its cheap to begin with. They also sent me an email mail saying that they phoned me and explained to me that my claim was rejected when actually I phoned to check and they again affirmed that it was going through accepted, so they also lied to me. Basically to me it was like dealing with a mafia of some sort.

DO NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE FROM THESE! Absolutely scandalous company that will miss-sell you insurance and not pay out when faced with life threatening travel situations! Paid out on my partners claim on the same insurance then refused to pay out for myself after being faced with potential death facing consequences and left to worry with the risks situated with it. You have been warned avoid these scandals!

My experience with outbacker was amazing. I got into a motorcycle accident in Thailand needing surgery surgery on my foot, within 24 hours the claim was approved and I was in surgery all expenses paid with no hassle at all. The insurance dealt directly with hospital so I had nothing to worry about and no upfront/hidden costs. Outbacker has varied reviews online which is why I wanted to share my experience as they were amazing for me, will definitely insure myself with them again. 10/10 customer service, one very satisfied (although injured lol) customer! Thank you!

Awful company. Unfortunately you only discover how bad it is when you need to place a claim and get assistance.
