The Harvey Practice

We have been with the Harvey Practice at Merley for over 30 years and have always found the whole practice to be super kind, helpful and caring. We have never had a problem with rude reception staff as mentioned in some of the other reviews. The Doctors and nurses are all excellent and thorough. Great to be able to have things like blood tests done at the surgery and prescriptions sent direct to the pharmacy.

Stick to Broadstone if you have the choice! Ive never spoken to such a rude receptionist! After speaking to my friend, I dont seem to be the only person who thinks this! Maybe spend a day working with the Broadstone ladies, they should be able to teach you some empathy and manners.

Cant imagine what being a confused and vulnerable patient has to go through with certain reception staff at this practice. Completely devoid of any empathy whatsoever, some of them. After 30 years, but now out of Poole Town, l would crawl the 4 miles back over broken glass if I could re-register with The Adam Practise.

I Would like to say a big thankyou to Dr Primavesi who has helped me through a nasty kidney infection. She promptly prescribed antibiotics that were effective , reassured me about what was happening and advised me what to look out for . Most importantly she rang to check on me 3 days later which does not happen very often. I have to say I am very impressed with this surgery and am happily feeling much better , it's been a horrible illness and frightening when you are alone.
