Its simple but not bad. The owners are eccentric, really not convencional, in a good way. There is a kitchen (separated from the kitchen of the house) a bedroom and a bathroom. The place have a nice view. The city Mere is near by, around 20 min walking . I saw some bad reviews of the place but its a house in the country side I dont know what the people are expecting, of course there is grass and simplicity :)

When we arrived and drove up to the house the owner asked what we were doing!! We explained and then the apology was that she had forgotten about our booking, even though we had received an e-mail with the route description a few days before our arrival. The parking area was one big pool of mud but the owner thought it was strange that we found it unfit to park there. Then it turns out that the room (described as deluxe) was not ready because we were too early! This even though it was 15.30 and we could, according to the e-mail, arrive at 15.00. The room, when it was ready, turned out to be furnished with the cheapest possible second -hand junk, including a broken chair, where you could catch and damage your clothes on the sharp pieces of wood, another dirty non-matching chair, a very worn rug, a very low iron bed which creaked etc. It was impossible to lock the door to the room - so I would not like to go out and leave my belongings there. The breakfast was a do-it-yourself breakfast. In a dingy kitchenette you could get started with the bacon and the eggs. The toilet was filthy, the remains of the previous occupant were present, the support for a disabled guest hung partly came out of the wall and therefore dangerous. The separation between sleeping area and bathroom consisted of a light curtain and a large hole in the partition wall where actually a window should have been but this was cheaper, which was also more than evident from the overall interior which in my opinion had been collected somewhere free of charge. Before 7 o'clock in the morning the family went upstairs in the bath or in the shower and it seemed like the water was running down the walls of our room. And is it really necessary to play the electric keyboard loud for a long time at 7.30 am repeating the same scales again and again? A slight smell hung in the room and this caused a nagging headache and nausea, something that I never suffer from. Internet was very very slow - it was impossible to use the iPad properly. The owner does not understand what she should at least offer the guest. There was no understanding for the guest and my advice is to stay away, somewhere else is always better. The only positive thing about this B&B is that you never have to come back
