        This is one of my favourite restaurants in the Vale. Reliably delicious food and friendly service. The Wagyu Burger is great with proper chips that are seasoned well. And a Pea and Wild Garlic soup starter. Yummy! Will be back!

        Stopped by for a lite lunch. Nice choices - not too pricey, great attentive service. I like the interior and some nice micro brewery ales on offer. Would go again.

        Awful food . Pie had no meat in it .. peas cold and shrivelled up . Chips cold and reheated . Extremely disappointing

        A beautiful gastropub settled in the stunning village Mentmore. Staff are unbelievably courteous and attentive. Very nice menu and a relaxed atmosphere. A real find.
