Meltham Self Storage

High recommendation for Meltham Self Storage I stored the furniture for two month in a container. A lots of space inside, access to my room all the time, friendly staff and reasonable price.. Thank you guys

I rented a storage unit at Meltham self storage for about 6 months, whilst preparing to move house. When I came to clear the unit, it became apparent that the roof had been leaking. There was thick mould on the ceiling and walls, everything that I had stored in cardboard boxes was ruined. I read the agreement and they have no responsibility for damage regardless of the cause. I was disappointed however that they didnt even have the courtesy to meet me to hand over the keys or to reply to my email. The property that was damaged did not have any financial value however it did have significant sentimental value. The damage looks to have been caused by a leaking soil stack into the room, so pretty unpleasant. I would strongly advise that you check on your stuff monthly if you store here. For 100 per month I would expect dry storage.

Guy is running a lovely little business here and deserves every success with it. The place is immaculate and well-cared for - right down to the planters outside by the door. Communication is good and security is not a worry. We've been storing stuff for a few months during an extension build and I wouldn't hesitate to use it again if the need arose. A well deserved 5-star review.

I've used Meltham Self Storage for over a year and it's been brilliant, great service and really easy to sort. Great value for money!
