Stone Dry Bespoke Basement Conversions

Nigel has just completed the damp proofing conversion of two large basement rooms in our house. The transformation is amazing and what was a damp and dirty cellar is now two usable rooms. Nigel has been so helpful throughout the whole process, making sure we were informed of what was happening at every stage and making sure we were compliant with regulations. Nigel has performed an excellent job on our cellar turning a damp room into a stone dry useable space ready for fitting out. First class project management and execution. Nigel and his team did a fantastic job and surmounted the (many) hurdles that were involved with precision. After receiving a few quotes, Nigel seemed by far the most competent and knowledgeable about our queries and was at a reasonable price point especially considering the scale of the job. All this proved true once he started the job. Great project managing to ensure all the other trades required for the conversion complete their jobs and only works with other high standard workmen. Nigel even rang us while on his annual leave to check on their progress which shows his character and commitment to his customers. It was a long process, but that can be seen through the quality of the work done. We couldn't be happier with our basement now and confident that our damp problem is under control. Our dog is very sad to see him leave!

Nigel carried out our cellar conversation last year. The cellar had become unusable as well as uninviting. Following Nigels engagement in early July our cellar was converted into a most amazing space that is now inconstant use. Nigel worked efficiently and to an agreed programme which was completed on time and to the agreed budget. Nigel adhered to the sympathetic architectural detailing and his quality of workmanship was outstanding. His knowledge and competency in his field of expertise is second to none. He was punctual, courteous, extremely tidy and very responsive to the detailed finishes requested. As some reviews state - he does go over and beyond to deliver. Having worked in construction for 40 years I have no hesitation recommending Nigel (Stonedrdry- Bespoke renovations) to anyone who wishes to transform their cellar or basement. ~ even if you have to wait for his availability!
