My nervous but sweet natured rare breed water dog went to a number of groomers who all subsequently refused to cut him on the basis that he was distressed by the experience of grooming. Moreover they all cut him like a cockapoo! Derek has been absolutely brilliant with him and better still, he ensured that my dog was cut according to breed standard. Fantastic service and my dog looks as he should after being groomed. I cannot recommend highly enough and would not consider taking my dog to any other groomer. Brilliant!

Derek is truly amazing. His knowledge and experience is first class. Our dog, Mysti has been visiting Derek every month to be groomed and pampered and I wouldn't take her anywhere else. She developed meningitis at the age of 14 months and we were told to say goodbye to her. After two and a half years of treatments, she has recovered, however, this has made her very nervous and with limited vision and movement on the right hand side of her body. Derek is amazing with her and is so caring and calming. Mysti can't wait to get in the car for her groom each month and trusts him totally. He has his own dogs and is highly respected in the doggy world (Crufts). His advice and support with Mysti and our new puppy has be so helpful. She always leaves "The Geordie Groomer" looking and smelling wonderful. Top marks and highly recommended. Thank you Derek and Rebecca. xx
